With warmth, grounded humor and cultural awareness, Georgia provides successful counseling for adolescents and adults. She integrates evidence-based interventions such as cognitive-behavioral (CBT), psychodynamic and mindfulness approaches to help individuals find greater freedom and enjoyment in their lives.

Georgia’s strong clinical skills, in combination with her down-to-earth warmth and insight, help clients address and overcome a wide range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, traumatic experiences, life transitions, loss and relationship difficulties. Through their work in therapy, clients can make powerful changes and experience greater ease and confidence in day-to-day life.

One of Georgia's specialties is working with adolescents. Therapy is tailored to the individual teenager and focuses on goals such as: learning to manage stress, perfectionism & mood issues; building self-esteem; and making smart choices about school, parties, dating, and the future.

Georgia provides culturally aware counseling to individuals of varying backgrounds, religious experiences, abilities, and gender identities /sexual orientations. Because her own family is multiracial and includes members of the LGBTQ community, she brings a unique perspective which allows her to connect with clients on many levels.

Testimonial from an Immigration Lawyer

“Georgia’s evaluations are superb. Her exhaustively detailed evaluations have led to the establishment of extreme hardship or a grant of asylum in 100% of the approximately 30 cases which we have referred to her.”
