IETGK owns and operates various online websites (https://www.therapistimmigrationtraining.com), applications, databases and/or services including its online training platform through which individuals can learn how to provide immigration evaluation services as part of the therapy services they offer (together referred to hereinafter as “Services”).  IETGK is committed to the privacy and security of our users' information. By using our Services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in these Privacy Policies (sometimes hereinafter referred to as “Policies”). The following Privacy Policies apply to the treatment of personal information, including personally identifiable information, submitted by, or otherwise obtained from, you in connection with the associated Services.  These Privacy Policies are implemented August 1, 2021, and are effective with respect to all data that we collect from and as of that date.  Additionally, these Policies are subject to our Terms of Service.

 

This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you use the Services and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

  • Through the Services.

 

  • In email, text, and other electronic messages between you and IETGK through the Services.

 

  • Through mobile and desktop applications you download from any IETGK website, which provide dedicated non-browser-based interaction between you and such website.

  • Us offline or through any other means, including on any other website operated by IETGK or any third party (including our affiliates and subsidiaries); or

 

  • Any third party (including our affiliates and subsidiaries), including through any application or content (including advertising) that may be linked or accessible from the Services.

If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use our Services. By accessing or using this Services, you agree to this privacy policy. Information We Collect About You and How We Collect It

 

We collect several types of information from and about users of our Services, including:

 

  • Certain personal information by which you may be personally identified, which may include your first and/or last name, all or part of a home or other physical address, an e-mail address, a telephone number, your age, a password, and other identifiers that will permit the physical and/or or online contacting of you, or other information maintained in a personally identifiable form in combination with any of the preceding, may be required to sign up for an account and/or use our Services.  You may update your account or registration information at any time or correct any of the Services profile settings by emailing us at admin@therapistimmigrationtraining.com.  Any personally identifiable information collected is knowingly provided by you.  We only require it when requested during  registration and/or e-commerce for interactive participation within our Services and during any ordering processes, respectively.

 

  • In addition to personally identifiable information you may provide in your account and/or registration, we may collect such information directly from you when you provide it to us or automatically as you navigate through the site, which may include usage details, IP addresses, and information collected through cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies  We may collect the following information from you in your use on or through our Services for our use in order for us to improve and refine our Services:

 

    • Usage Information:  We may collect information about your activities on and use of our Services. For example, we may collect records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses), if you contact us, and your responses to surveys that we might ask you to complete for research purposes. We may collect details of interactions you carry out on our. You may be required to provide financial information before using the Services. 

 

    • Subscription or Registration Information:  We may collect a user’s registration or subscription start and expiration date, and whether the registration or subscription resulted from a particular promotion or form or outreach.  We may collect information that you provide by filling in forms on our Services. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our Services, subscribing to our Services, or requesting further Services. We may also ask you for information when you enter a contest or promotion sponsored by us, and when you report a problem with our Services.

 

    • Location Information:  We will collect location information if you provide it to us, for example, your device’s GPS coordinates unless you configure your device settings to prevent our collection of location information. We will give you the option to specify if you want us to collect your location information when you first use our Services; thereafter you can change this in your device’s Go to your iPhone's home screen and click on the settings icon. Under settings, find "Privacy" and click on it. Turn off GPS here by turning off location services on the IETGK application. We will use GPS location information to be able to remind you at your request to use our Services at a location you specify.

 

User Identity

 

Your personally identifiable information will be private and kept confidential by us except as specifically provided otherwise herein.

 

We request that you do not include within any potential public spaces of the Services your last name or other identifying personal information such as your home or other physical address, your e-mail address, your telephone number(s) and that you refrain from requesting any of this information from other users of the Services.

 

Children Under Thirteen

 

Our Services are offered to only individuals who are 21 years of age or older.  Therefore, we do not intentionally gather personal information from children under the age of 13.  If you believe we have unknowingly gathered a child’s information, please contact us immediately at admin@TherapistImmigrationTraining.com.

Traffic, System and Device Data

 

As you navigate through and interact with our Services, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including:

 

  • Details of your visits to our Services, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the Services.

 

  • Information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system, and browser type.  Your IP address is a numeric address assigned to your computer, assigned by your Internet service provider. We automatically collect your IP address as traffic data so that we can send information back to you when requested. This is not used to identify your personal information.

 

  • Referrers are references to the web address you linked from and is automatically passed along by your web browser. We collect referrers your browser sends as part of traffic data. This is not attached to personally identifiable information.

 

  • System information such as your mobile network, hardware model, unique device identifiers (including MAC address and IMEI), operating system/platform, the type of web browser and language you use may be captured by us. This is not attached to personally identifiable information.

 

  • We also may use these strictly necessary cookies in order to ensure the proper functioning of our website (such as prompting the cookie banner, etc.). These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems.  They help us to improve our Services and to deliver a better and more personalized service, including by enabling us to (i) estimate our audience size and usage patterns, (ii) store information about your preferences, allowing us to customize our Services according to your individual interests, (iii) speed up your access to the Services, and (iv) recognize you when you return to our Services. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but some parts of the site will not then work. These cookies do not store any personally identifiable information.  More information about our “cookies” and other tracking technologies is as follows:

 

    • Cookies (or Browser Cookies):  A cookie is a small file placed on the hard drive of your computer. You may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser.  However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our Services.     • Web Beacons:  Pages of our Services and our e-mails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit the Company, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email and for other related Services statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain Services content and verifying system and server integrity).

 

We may use session cookies, persistent cookies, and other tracking technologies to better understand how you interact with our Services, to monitor usage by our users and web traffic routing on our services, and to improve our Services. Most Internet browsers automatically accept cookies. REGISTRATION AND/OR Account Information

 

In order to access most of our Services, you will have to register for Services.

 

When you register for Services or for an account within our Services, we will collect your first and last name, e-mail address, address including zip code, your age, and, if applicable, your password, your personal identification number (“PIN”) and answers to security questions for a second level of security, and the date.  When registering or creating your account, you must provide true, accurate and complete information.

 

Your information is maintained on a secure web server in what we believe to be a well-protected environment safe from access by others.

 

You are fully responsible for maintaining the security and all activities that occur under your registration or account and any other actions taken in connection with your registration or account within our Services.  You must keep any and all passwords associated with the Services secure. You must notify us immediately of any breaches of security or unauthorized use of your registration or account.  We will not be liable for your losses caused by any unauthorized use of your registration or account; and you may be liable for the losses to others due to such unauthorized use.

 

You may never use another's registration or account without permission.

 

If you would like to deactivate your registration or your account, as may be applicable, or you no longer desire to use our Services, please send us an email to that effect at admin@therapistimmigrationtraining.com. We will maintain your registration and/or account information in our database for one year after your discontinuation or deactivation, after which time we will delete your registration and/or account and all related information.  This option gives each user the flexibility to leave and come back whenever the user wants within the period of a year. If you choose to reactivate your registration or account at any time, including within the one-year time period, you will need to re-submit the required registration and/or account information.

 

Use of Information and Limited Sharing of Information

 

How We Use Your Information

 

We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information to present our Services and its contents to you.

 

Our Services make every effort to preserve your privacy, and share information only as specified herein.  We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

 

Our Services use information you provide for administering our business activities and occasionally to notify you about changes to our Services or special offers. In administering our Services, we may employ other companies and people, including application partners or service providers.  We may share your personal information and other information connected with your use of our Services with these others who are working with us only to perform functions and process user data on our behalf.  Such agents have access to your personal information only to perform services on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose it or use it for any other purposes. Some of these service providers and other third parties, such as analytics providers, may collect aggregated, non-personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites or online services when you use our services. Transfers of data will only be to such third-party providers that we through reasonable due diligence are of the belief operate in a manner consistent with our Privacy Policies. We will take reasonable and appropriate steps to confirm that the agent’s processing of the personal information is in accordance with our Privacy Policies.  We will require notice from the agent if it can no longer meet these obligations, and, upon receiving such notice, take reasonable precautions to remediate any unauthorized processing of personal data by such provider.

 

Subject to the above-stated obligations with respect to our agent’s qualifications and compliance with our Privacy Policies, and except as may be otherwise stated herein, we are not responsible for the independent actions of third parties. We are not responsible for any additional information you provide directly to any third parties.

 

Our Services share personally identifiable information to billing and credit card companies.  That sharing will be for the purpose of completing purchase transactions and for no other purpose.

 

Personally identifiable information may be disclosed when required by law where we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process, or if directed by you to do so.  Additionally, it may be shared to protect our rights, property and/or safety, and the same of our users or others.

 

We may provide aggregate statistics about our subscribers, traffic patterns, and related Services information to third-party vendors, like publishers or higher education institutions or connected sites.  For example, we may share information publicly to show trends about the general use of our services.  These statistics will not include personally identifiable information.

 

From time to time we may perform surveys or conduct contests. You can choose to decline or opt out or any such survey or contest.  We may use personal information submitted in connection with surveys or contests to contact you for further research or regarding a prize.  Unless we first receive your written permission, no information other than as specified herein is shared with any other third-party individual or company for any purpose, under any circumstance, except specifically related to the Services’ operation.  Sharing as set forth herein is agreed to by you upon acceptance of our Services Terms and Conditions of Use and Privacy Policies, required for use of our Services.

 

From time to time we may send newsletters or promotional email messages.  You will be given the choice to unsubscribe to the receipt of such messages.

We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.

  • To our subsidiaries and affiliates.

  • To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it. For example, if you give us an email address to use the "email a friend" feature of our Services, we will transmit the contents of that email and your email address to the recipients.

Promotional Offers from the Company: If you do not wish to have your email address/contact information used by the Company to promote our own products or services, you can opt-out by sending us an email at:  EMAIL ADDRESS. If we have sent you a promotional email, you may send us a return email asking to be omitted from future email distributions.

 

Accessing and Correcting Your Information

We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user access to our Services. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by our Services and we are not responsible for the policies and practices once you leave our Services.

 

Specifically, our Services will access purchasing and billing services provided by PayPal and Square, for certain goods and services purchases, including virtual goods and upgrades to your use of the Services.  When you have access to or are directed to services provided by any of these service providers, your mailing information will be collected through our services but your billing information will not be collected through our Services, rather only through the other sites or services which you have accessed.  Please familiarize yourself with those sites’ terms of service and privacy policies regarding purchasing and billing data you share on those sites.

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers behind firewalls. Any personally identifiable information and payment transaction information will be encrypted using SSL technology.

 

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we may have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Services, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of the Services like message boards. The information you share in public areas may be viewed by any user of the Services.

 

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Services. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Services.

 

Our Services take every precaution to protect our users’ information. When users submit required personal information via our Services, their information is protected both online and off-line. We do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our customers' information, not just the personal information mentioned above, is restricted in our commercial servers. IETGK maintains strict administrative, technical, and physical procedures to protect information stored in our servers, which are located in the United States. Access to information is limited (through user/password credentials and software systems) to those employees who require it to perform their job functions. Finally, we take data security seriously at IETGK. Our servers are hosted in a world class data center that is protected by 24-hour surveillance and we ensure that our application is always up to date with the latest security patches. We use industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology to safeguard the registration and/or account creation process and sign-up information. Other security safeguards include but are not limited to data encryption, firewalls, and physical access controls to building and files.

Security and Financial Information

 

We take all reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we collect, use or disclose is accurate, complete, up-to-date and relevant and stored securely. IETGK uses Paypal to process our credit card payments and no credit card details are stored on our servers.  Paypal has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor, and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available.

 

Correcting, Updating, Deleting & Deactivating Personal Information

 

If an IETGK user’s information changes (such as zip code, email or postal address), or if a Services’ user no longer desires our Services, we provide a way to correct, update or deactivate your information.  In the case of an account, this can usually be done in your Services account profile or in the case of all uses, this can be done by contacting the Services’ Administrator at admin@therapistimmigrationtraining.com and submitting the necessary corrections, updates or deletions.

 

Notification of Changes

 

If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes to our Privacy Policies, the homepage, your sign-on to the Services, and other places we deem appropriate so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.

 

It is your responsibility to check these Privacy Policies periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the Services following the posting of any changes to this these Policies constitutes acceptance of any changes.  In any event, by using this Services you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these Privacy Policies.

Moreover, if IETGK, or substantially all of its assets are acquired, or in the unlikely event that IETGK goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information may be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. For disputes the Company is unable to resolve through its internal dispute resolution procedure, the Company may, in its sole discretion, require you to submit any disputes, including any suit filed, arising from these Privacy Policies, to final and binding arbitration under the Rules of Arbitration of the American Arbitration Association applying California law.
